“None of us is born with the right face. It’s a tough job being a portrait photographer.”
Seeing as I started this challenge in January with a self portrait, I thought it would be fitting to end it with one. Also, learning a few things in Lightroom, liking it so much better than Photoshop. Also couldn’t decide on color or b&w so here are both!
Thankful for life’s little moments.
1st Photo: Marley’s nail went up Elliott’s nose.
2nd Photo: The aftermath.
I couldn’t stop laughing!
“A dog reflects the family life. Whoever saw a frisky dog in a gloomy family, or a sad dog in a happy one?
― Arthur Conan Doyle
She really wanted that treat.
“I love the spirit of Halloween and the energy that comes with it.”
Spending some of my day off shooting for my “Unapologetic” series. Trying to get to 20 photos before I start showing and have to wait until after May to complete it.
“It’s nice to just embrace the natural beauty within you.”
“Eye of newt, and toe of frog,
Wool of bat, and tongue of dog,
Adder’s fork, and blind-worm’s sting,
Lizard’s leg, and owlet’s wing,—
For a charm of powerful trouble,
Like a hell-broth boil and bubble.
Double, double toil and trouble;
Fire burn, and caldron bubble.”
― William Shakespeare
Haven’t been feeling that well lately, so I was thoroughly surprised when I forced myself to get up and take my weekly photograph. Can you tell I’m ready for Halloween?
“The other night dear, as I lay sleeping
I dreamed I held you in my arms
But when I awoke, dear, I was mistaken
So I hung my head and I cried
You are my sunshine, my only sunshine
You make me happy when skies are gray
You’ll never know dear, how much I love you
Please don’t take my sunshine away”
“We know that in September, we will wander through the warm winds of summer’s wreckage. We will welcome summer’s ghost.”
