December Week One: The End of A Challenge

“None of us is born with the right face. It’s a tough job being a portrait photographer.”
-Imogen Cunningham
Seeing as I started this challenge in January with a self portrait, I thought it would be fitting to end it with one. Also, learning a few things in Lightroom, liking it so much better than Photoshop. Also couldn’t decide on color or b&w so here are both!

“It is in your hands to make of our world a better one for all, especially the poor, vulnerable & marginalised.” Nelson Mandela

This image and quote fit together so well, especially in the world we are living in today. With all of the hate, pain, and destruction going on, it really is up to the “little people” to make a difference. To stop hating, and start loving. All lives matter, don’t let the opinion of one influence your own.

“In the Closet”

Self Portrait January

This image is an extra from my February Challenge. I ironically named it “In the Closet” because it is just the opposite of that. But the same interpretation stands, the subject attempting to achieve satisfaction but unable to get there because of being trapped.
